black flies swarm at the dairy dreme
they'll die for the taste of something sweet
face up in the tubs of soft ice cream
melting in the summer heat
we used to go to the dairy dreme
we'd sit outside and share ice cream
as the bugs drank the blood from our bare feet
'cause you and me, we were so sweet
don't you remember darling
we used to go to the dairy dreme
i was so sweet then, you'd have died for me
as we made love in the summer heat
behind the dairy dreme

Such a dark, utterly hellish yet also gorgeous sound. I understand why one may not connect with your old music, but I’m at least glad she chose to put some renditions of her pre-Ethel Cain stuff on here. Absolutely obsessed with Churchyard and its grandiose ethereal wave sound, but Hospital Beds II is next level shit, I don’t know if I’ve ever heard better vocals than those on the that second vocal crescendo towards the end, absolutely blows me away every single time iristhesiren
